Just to say, this site obviously collects and stores any information you enter. In addition, it automatically collects your IP address used to connect your computer to the Internet, any log-ins to the blog, e-mail address, password, computer and connection information, and purchase history. There are also built-in software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. It also collects personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications), payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile. Don’t worry, I don’t browse this stuff, I just have to inform you – Gav.
I would only use the above info for emailing you back, or in the case of a transaction. I don’t have a Store set up yet though, just to inform you.
The site collects Non-Personal and Personal Information for a few reasons; in order to carry out the above, provide any customer assistance or technical support required, to be able to contact you with general or personalised service-related notices or promotional messages, and to comply with any applicable laws and regulations. Again, it’s just a requirement to tell you this. It might never happen!
This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides the online platform that allows me, should I wish, to sell products to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by me adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers
I would only ever contact you via the email address you provide above, unless you want a phone call! If I ever get a mailing list sorted, I will use your email address, but only if you’re okay with that. Spamming is not my game, so that might never materialise. But again, I just have to state that.
This site also uses Cookies. Hopefully you have already accepted these, or declined all non-essential ones from the homepage. I know, I loathe doing this too, but it’s a compliance issue for this site.
